Trolley

Our historic trolley began its life near Reading Pennsylvania. Though we are unsure of its early life, we do know that it was purchased in the early 1980's by Dick Knoebel to be used at Knoebels Groves. Once at the park, it was used as a construction job trailer and blueprint room for the renowned Phoenix wooden rollercoaster project. Once the ride opened in June of 1985, the trolley was used as the ticket booth for the Phoenix. It had that role from 1985 - 2022. From there, it was purchased by Memory Lane Campground owner Brady Petrovich. The trolley was moved with extensive efforts with the use of cranes, tractors, and trucks to its current location. Brady and Dave Petrovich restored the trolley and converted it into a 2-person cabin. With its spacious deck, private bathroom / shower, kitchennette, and cozy sleeping arrangements, you'll be sure to feel right at home at Memory Lane in our most important piece of history!
