HIKING & WALKING

Walking near Memory Lane Campground couldn't get any more convenient. You can walk through Knoebels Groves, or on the local back country roads. You are sure return with peace of mind. If that doesn't cut it for you, there are numerous trails, state parks, and state forests close by. The Weiser State Forest, Susquehanna River Trail, R.B. Winter State Park, Ricketts Glen State Park, and Poe Valley State Park are but a few examples of areas to enjoy nature nearby.

Just 1 mile up the road from Memory Lane Campground is Knoebels Three Ponds Golf Course. This semi-evergreen wooded course is pleasing to the eye and mind. All just minutes away!

In the town of Elysburg, there lies the Elysburg Valley Gun Club. Here there are gun ranges as well as annual shotgun shooting competitions.

If you need a break from Knoebels for a day, don't worry. There is plenty to see within a short range. Many museums, tours, and roadside attractions marble the area. Nearby, there is the Ashland Anthracite Coal Mine Tour, Yuengling Brewery Tour, Troegs Brewery Tour, Bloomsburg University, Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, Penn's Caves, Woodward Cave, Indian Echo Caverns, Hershey Chocolate World, and many local attractions that are unique and interesting by nature.
